less torquey though.... And the 1M is actually more powerful than the S54 stock for stock IRL. The N54 is more underrated than the S54

Yeah, but considering what a 1M would run you, assuming you can find one, it could be a lot cheaper to do this and then add some power. I just really like the 1-Series. I kind of wish now that I'd looked at some what I bought my FR-S. Perhaps for my next vehicle...
